Birthday present


Yesterday was my birthday and I had full day class and a test. It was pretty stressful but ended when test was over. Surprisingly, tutor treated us to a Peranakan place for lunch. It was good. I also received an Acer travelmate notebook as present. Sweet. Went to Seoul Garden for buffet steamboat and BBQ. It was so crowded that we waited 45 mins before we got a table. It was pretty ok if you like BBQ. But I figure out that I dont really enjoy it because of the hot oil splashing out when you are BBQing. haha....thank God I was not the chef. I was just waiting to be served. Cool..... :)

Sky is getting darker each day

Small drops getting bit by bit
Clothes getting heavier and heavier
When will the rain going to stop?

Maybe when that day comes, I will no longer notice it anymore.

Judging People

Just did my devotion and read this statement made by Mother Teresa. "If you judge people, you have no time to love them".

This sets me into thinking deeper. Yes, indeed it is very true. How many times have we start to judge people even based on the first impression that they had given us? And the funny thing is that that very first impression actually lasts forever. It affects how we interact with that person from then onwards. This is a good reminder to all christians. We should be watchful and do not judge people. We ourselves are no saints and what rights do we have to judge others? Even Jesus, Son of God does not judge us. So let us spread this world with more love and less judgements....
