Simple teachers' day cards but BIG meaning to me! :) Received cards and gifts. Left a few flowers gifts in school to decorate my table so havent taken the pics. hehe...hoping to post them online to keep as memory as well. Last year did the same thing too. So touched by the students. Especially surprised when I received cards and gifts from my ex students. I hope that i do mean something to them and they will continue to listen to my advices and find me whenever they need help. Really gonna miss those graduating soon. Oh yea, my class did their best during the performance too. It was great effort. So happy. I hope they will never forget this performance and remember the meaningful lyrics always. Teachers day gifts

Spent alot of time doing this origami but i did enjoyed it. The smaller it is, the harder to fold. Hope the teachers will like the gifts. Rather flimsy. Guess must use blue tack in order for it to stand secured. Well well, problem solving skills tested there. haha.... one teacher joked that I must have did that on purpose to test their soft skills. LOL. Lily represents purity. I hope that we teachers can stand pure and teach with all of our hearts. Cheers...

Meaningful Birthday

Had a meaningful birthday today. Went to St. Joseph's Home of the Hospice with 3 other classes. We brought many items for them too. We performed for them and interacted with them. Many of them are really sick and with tubes in them. Sad scene but hopefully we did brought a little joy to them. Happy! Happy with all the birthday wishes from colleagues and presents as well. Really surprised! Also received sms birthday greetings from ex colleague....i am so happy and surprised. hehe...happy and happy are the words.

Little thoughts, simple words of well wishes
sweeten this little heart of mine.
Smiles on the faces of the elderly
songs sang from the hearts of the students
brighten this special day of mine.
It is not the gifts that touched my heart
but little sweet thoughts that melted my heart.
They shall remain as sweet memories ever and ever....

Received 2 sweet surprises...got my earliest birthday present. Feel blessed.... :) Long long time didn't use Body shop products already. haha.... hey! Am I starting to have more friends here or still just colleagues? I wonder.... shall not think so much about that. Hehe....just enjoy the blessings from God. Thank you, Father!
Was catching up with my ex colleague and even though we didn't contact for a while, there was still so much to chat about. Really miss having them. Enuf of dwelling on the past, must think of the future.....shall start thinking of what birthday wishes I would like to have....

Funeral

At first thought that I can enjoy this long weekend and even planned to celebrate my aunt's birthday but who knows in the end, I am at the 7 days funeral. Principal was nice to grant me compassionate leave. Funerals are so tiring especially those which lasts for 7 days. Have to stay there for almost whole day and even until early morning or even overnight there. Draining mentally and physically. But I guess it is good for grandfather to leave so that he does not need to suffer more on earth. When death comes, everything seems to have to come to a standstill. But imagine some people can even go ahead to go for the chalet that they had booked. Really unthinkable huh? But I guess if when grandfather was alive, they were not filial so what to expect from them when it is his funeral right? Everyone has different response at loss of someone.

At the wake, everything seems to creep slowly
Everything seems to come to a stop.
No rushing hour, no showoff, no colours.
Laughter seems to be lost in space.
Incense burning and dying off
People coming and bowing
giving their last respect.
Family with teary and reddish eyes
Sobbing and silence echoing in now and then
at the quiet, cold cold night...

Last weekend, went out shopping for furniture with my aunt. Really great hanging out with her. She also treated me an early birthday dinner. Above is nasi bryani from park royal hotel. Nice food. :)

Went to M Hotel for a weekend stay some time back. Pretty nice hotel but pool a little small. But nice that the staff upgraded our room to club room so it was bigger.
